PORTLAND, Oregon – Gas prices in the region are showing minimal movement this week.
“The Oregon average dips three cents to $3.18,” AAA Motor Club Public Affairs Director Marie Dodds said. “In Pendleton, we’re down a nickel for the week to $2.97 a gallon. Hermiston is down a penny to $2.94.”
The average for a gallon of regular unleaded is also down three cents in Washington to $3.31. AAA reports that Milton-Freewater’s average is unchanged at $2.99 and Walla Walla drops a penny to $3.18.
Dodds says the downward trend will continue for the time being.
“Barring unforeseen events, we would expect this trend to continue between now and the end of the year,” she said. “Of course, the other big bump we’ll see is around the year-end holidays, when we see an increase in travel.”
