PENDLETON, Oregon – The Pendleton City Council continues to explore two proposals for the future use of the now empty fire station on Southwest Court Avenue. One proposal is for the opening of an adventure motorcycling business. The other would offer retail space with transient housing that calls for the city to be a partner.
“The council is negotiating and considering both of those proposals,” City Manager Robb Corbett said.
At its meeting last week, the council heard the answers to questions it had put to the two parties. However, the group wants more information.
“They gave me further questions to convey, so those conversations are ongoing,” Corbett said.
