Four people injured in two car, semi collision

BURBANK, Washington – Four people were injured Tuesday evening in a collision involving two vehicles and a semi on State Route 124.

The Washington State Patrol said the driver of the semi, Aaron S. Hoffman, 46, of Prescott, failed to yield as he was approaching another vehicle who was stopped eastbound about 3 miles east of Pasco to make a left turn.

Hoffman’s semi and two other vehicles were involved in the collision at about 5:04 p.m.  Hoffman was not injured.

The driver of the second vehicle, Evanglina Zuniga-Jacinto, 38, of Pasco was injured as were her three passengers — a 14-year-old girl, an 11-year-old girl and a 2-year-old boy.  All were transported to Trios Health in Kennewick.

The driver of the third vehicle, Ryan J. Ayres, 39, of Pasco was not injured.

Hoffman was charged with failure to yield left turn.
