Washington liquor board to ‘reevaluate’ marijuana edibles

OLYMPIA, Washington – Starting next year, certain cannabis-infused candies could start disappearing from store shelves.

The Washington State Liquor Control and Cannabis Board will “reevaluate” all edibles in an effort to cut back on products that may be appealing to children.

Edibles make up nine percent of the marijuana sold in Washington, according to the WLCCB.

A webinar is planned for Oct. 16 to address questions about the state’s reevaluation of edibles.
