Autopsy results released following fatal officer-involved shooting

WALLA WALLA, Washington — The Walla Walla County Coroner’s Office has released their report following an autopsy of Christopher Borland, 40, who was shot by police after allegedly threatening officers on Myra Road Sunday evening.

The coroner’s office indicates there were multiple gunshot wounds to the trunk and extremities of Borland’s body. “The manner of death is homicide,” they say.

The autopsy was completed last night at 8:00 p.m.
