Three adults, four children injured in Hwy 12 collision

WALLULA, Washington — Seven people were injured in a collision on Highway 12 this afternoon around 2:00 p.m.

Washington State Patrol reports it occurred at milepost 304 near Boise Cascade Road north of Wallula.

Consuelo Morales Camacho, 20, of Kennewick, was driving a red 2012 Chevy Cruze eastbound on the highway at Boise Cascade Road. Nancy Skinner, 61, of Wallula, was driving a 1993 GMT pickup when Camacho failed to yield right of way and collided with Skinner in the westbound lane.

Both were transported to Lourdes Medical Center.

Morales Camacho had four passengers. One was Alondra Rosas Trejo, 20, of Kennewick and three juveniles ages six, five and one. Rosas Trejo was transported to Lourdes, the two older children were transported to Kadlec Medical Center and the one-year-old was transported to Trios Medical Center.

A 13-year-old boy was riding in the truck with Skinner. He was transported to Lourdes Medical Center.

Charges are pending against Morales Camacho.
